Van Driver

Job Description and Responsibilities: Join the Willow Valley Communities Transportation team as a Van Driver required.
The Van Driver is responsible to transport Residents or Guests safely to designated points on a predetermined schedule for Willow Valley Communities.

00/hr Responsibilities: Drives van to pick-up and transport Residents to predetermined destinations (hospital/doctor's office) according to assigned schedule.
Assists Residents in and out of the vehicle.
Secures passengers' wheelchairs per established policies and procedures.
Secures wheel-chair bound passenger’s lag and shoulder restraints prior to moving the vehicle and secures walkers for when the vehicle is in motion.
Accompanies Resident from vehicle into office, and makes sure the Resident is properly signed in and gives the receptionist their cell phone number to be called when ready for pick up.
Operates hands free cell phone to communicate with the Transportation Supervisor and medical offices.
Services vehicle with fuel and keeps vehicle clean (wash/vacuum).
Reports vehicle issues to the Transportation Supervisor.
Records mileage daily.
