Warehouse support/Back-up Driver
Do you have a background in warehouse support and customer service? Do you enjoy being involved in several aspects of a Company? Are you looking for an opportunity that opens doors to learning new areas and growth within a Company?
If so, we are looking for you to join our exceptional team as a Warehouse Associate and Back up driver in East Petersburg, MA!
Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm.
No weekends
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Complete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory, and will call orders
• Doing local deliveries in a company truck when needed as a back up driver: Loading, transporting, unloading building materials, fasteners, tools, concrete supplies to local jobsites, vendors
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
• Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.
• Maintain condition of work area (i.
e.
free of trash, product in correct location, etc.
).
• Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
• Receive and fill inventory orders for customers.
• Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned
You Might Be A Good Fit If You :
• DOT Medical Card Required (Testing to be Scheduled if Needed)
• Must have a good driving record and valid U.
S Driver's license
• Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in the industrial supply field with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet the Physical Demands – You’re able to lift at least 50 to 100 Lbs.
on regular and occasional basis.
• Are Already Forklift Certified – if not, no worries - we will get you trained and certified!
• Focus on the Details – You’re organized, highly efficient and able to pull needed products error-free
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment – You’re able to work in an active environment where you are constantly moving.
• Remain Calm Under Pressure – You are able to multi-task with a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment by staying calm and focused and take accountability for your work.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent lifting to 90 lbs.
• Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading merchandise and tying down product
• Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedals on trucks
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
