Equipment Delivery Driver

Purpose: Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership and may complete light on-the-road repair work.
May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.
Responsibilities: Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up equipment from other vendors as needed Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed per service managers direction Does final quality control inspection of equipment before delivering to customer Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts as required Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties Maintains assigned truck and related equipment in good condition Assists with assembly of new equipment at the dealership as needed May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required May require light service work on-the-road with attachment change overs, deck installs and/or snow equipment May complete on-the-road oil changes, blade sharpening, and/or belt replacements as directed by Service Manager Maintains a positive attitude and representation of Company Relays all customer issues to Service Manager immediately This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other leadership as required.
