University faculty supervise student teachers visiting a minimum of six times during the semester.
Contingency: This course may be cancelled, or additional sections of this course may be offered pending student enrollment.
In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.
Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Technology Education or closely related field and a minimum of three years technology education teaching experience.
Permanent teacher certification in Technology Education or related field.
Previous supervisory experience and evidence of effective teaching.
Knowledge of current Technology & Engineering Education curriculum, pedagogy, and philosophy as well as the Standards for Technological Literacy and the Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
