*Grade 2 Teacher Long-Term Substitute* *Hours:* Full-time position Monday – Friday (Beginning February 12- March 31 or longer) *Qualifications:* ● Bachelor’s degree in education ● Teaching Certificate ● Teaching experience preferred *Job Description:* * With guidance from the Director of Elementary Education, plan, prepare, and implement instruction, practice, and assessment appropriate for early childhood learners * Design instruction and encourage application using a Bible curriculum * Use Biblical integration in all subject areas * Encourage Anabaptist principles in the classroom * Implement policies and procedures that encourage development of the whole child * Create a positive classroom climate inviting to diverse students * Incorporate the use of technology to enhance learning * Utilize an effective classroom management system to establish an orderly classroom of 16 students * Work collaboratively with a grade-level partner * Fulfill all other duties as a LAMS faculty member including outside recess duty If you possess these qualifications and would like to explore the possibility of a position at LAMS, please go to our website _*https://www.
