Retreat Behavioral health PRN CPR instructor AHA We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced First Aid Instructor to join our team.
As a First Aid Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching individuals the necessary skills to respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care until professional medical help arrives.

Duties: - Conduct engaging and informative first aid classes for a variety of audiences, including adults and children - Create lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure effective delivery of course content - Demonstrate proper techniques for administering first aid, CPR, and other life-saving procedures - Provide clear explanations and demonstrations of first aid principles and procedures - Facilitate interactive discussions and answer questions from participants - Assess participant performance through practical assessments and written exams - Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, performance, and certification status - Stay up-to-date with current first aid guidelines and best practices Experience: - Previous experience as a First Aid Instructor or similar role is preferred - Lifeguard certification is a plus - Strong public speaking and communication skills - Ability to effectively educate and engage participants of all ages - Experience in adult education or teaching is beneficial - Knowledge of swim safety and water rescue techniques is desirable If you are passionate about teaching life-saving skills and making a difference in the community, we encourage you to apply.
