Parent & Child Teacher

Susquehanna Waldorf School (SWS) is seeking a teacher with experience in Early Childhood Waldorf education to lead two sessions of our Spring Parent-Child class from March 14 – May 11, 2024.
Each class meets for 2.
5 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Parent & Child program provides a supportive environment to parents and caregivers as they delve into the joys and challenges of parenting.
Morning classes offer a time for play, songs, verses, a snack, and crafts.
Through weekly group conversations, parents and caregivers are offered a time for focused attention on their children as they explore the world.
The ideal candidate has experience teaching a Waldorf Parent-Child class or a Waldorf Early Childhood class and feels confident in supporting both young children and parents through an understanding of Waldorf pedagogy as it relates to child development.
Future summer and fall positions are possible.
