*The Susquehanna Waldorf School* is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Waldorf teacher as the Class Teacher for our 2024-25 Second Grade Class.
Founded in 1987, the Susquehanna Waldorf School resides along the quiet river town of Marietta, PA.
We are a fully accredited Waldorf school with a faculty dedicated to the principles of Waldorf education.
We serve 151 students in our Parent-Child classes through 8th grade.
Our ideal candidate has experience teaching early grades in elementary school, with preference given to Waldorf teaching experience.
Our teacher will be dedicated to Waldorf pedagogy, bring a confident classroom presence, and have considerable collegial capacities and parent-relationship skills.
They will foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and cultural appreciation.
The compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K program, and tuition remission for their children enrolled in the school.
The base salary for this position is $41,200, with increment increases for advanced degrees and Waldorf Certification.
Our students benefit from a medley of programs that include Mandarin, Latin, Eurythmy, Music, Orchestra, Handwork and Practical Arts.
