Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team.
As a Spanish Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the Spanish language and culture.
This position requires strong communication skills, cultural knowledge, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
You must follow the school's Catholic character and Gospel values.
Duties:
-Every Teacher is expected to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church and to conduct himself/herself in accordance with Catholic morality.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach Spanish language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Introduce students to Spanish culture, traditions, and history
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish education
- Fluency in Spanish language (native or near-native proficiency)
- Strong knowledge of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Experience teaching Spanish at the middle school or high school level (student teaching experience may be considered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and educational technology
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21,791.
