The teacher must be an instructional leader who is student-centered, able to create and foster a conducive learning environment for students, plan Standards-based lessons, deliver differentiated instruction, utilize various assessment practices to inform instruction and engage in continual reflection of teacher effectiveness.
This teacher will be required to write individualized education plans, progress monitor, and communicate with parents and staff on a regular basis.
