As the Transportation Project Analyst you will be the business leader of continuous improvement activities for increased operation efficiency.
Analyze data from transportation and safety management systems, while staying current with market trends to develop process improvement and error reduction strategies.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite)
What you get to do as a Transportation Project Analyst
Create a data analytics road map working with Operations leadership, and develop predictive and prescriptive data analytics for effective operations management to achieve efficiency and profitability.
Create interactive dashboards, score cards using BI tools to help operations execution, empower associates, allows the user to drill down to provide insights that can improve productivity.
Collaborate with Operations and IT teams on IT project design, implementation and completion.
Support Transportation Management system and Safety Management system projects to drive operational efficiency
Lead projects in Transportation operations through robust internal collaboration and communication, tracking, maintaining and, monitoring project schedules and evaluate project progress.
Support innovation and continuous improvement projects through the ideation, prioritization and execution stages with research, cost benefit analysis and data analytics.
Stay up to date with industry innovations, evaluate new technologies from POC through implementation stages
Support the Director of Operations on strategic business targets and objectives.
What you bring
Bachelors degree required.
Bachelors in Industrial Engineering or Business Logistics field strongly preferred.
Aptitude and willingness to learn business process knowledge.
Proficient communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Background in lean six sigma, IT and Business analytics projects preferred.
Experience in transportation and/or warehouse operations, Supply chain and Logistics is preferred
