*What you need:*
* Current and Valid PA Licensure as a Practical Nurse
* Successful completion of the PA Department of Human Services (DHS) Direct Care Staff Person Training Course/Test.
* Twenty-One years of age or older
* Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to be trained by Luthercare during employment.
*What you do:*
* Ensure the safety and proper care of resident’s personal property as defined by the organization’s guidelines and standards.
Addresses possible concerns and issues with supervisor as appropriate.
* Assists in the Observe residents and report changes in resident condition or symptoms of illness to medical provider and/or PC Manager, as necessary.
Obtain and monitor vital signs and assist with emergency situations and ambulation.
Encourage residents to remain active and attend social functions and programs.
Assist with the development and carry-out of activities and programs on a routine basis under the leadership of the activity staff.
* Provide functional supervision to personal care staff.
Assist Manager with training and in-service Programs.

Spang Crest, located at 945 Duke Street in Lebanon, is a 105-bed skilled nursing and rehab center.
The community is part of Luthercare, a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization based in Lititz, Pa.
Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
