is growing! As a leading distributor of food service equipment and supplies, we are currently in the process of looking for warehouse receiving material handlers to join our rapidly growing company.
We are looking for reliable, skilled applicants that focus on teamwork and safety.
Basic Overview:
A receiving material handler in checks and unloads incoming shipments.
He or she verifies that the correct types and amounts of items were shipped and inspects the goods to ensure their quality and then prepares the product for put-away.
Job Responsibilities:
Unload trucks and sign bills in a timely manner
Unload container trucks where constant lifting, the moving product above head, and bending are required for 2 hour periods
Process all incoming merchandise in an accurate and timely manner.
Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment
Abide by all forklift safety training (must go through our training and certification).
Report any forklift issues to ensure they are properly fixed by a trained technician.
Communicate any issues and report any accidents to the manager immediately.
Keep work zone clean and orderly and help maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the shipping supervisor
1st Shift Receiving Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 4:30pm; Friday 7:00am - 11:00am
Starting rate is $18.
50/hour with the potential to earn a $0.
75 cent raise every 6 months.
Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs
Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs
Must be able to lift 50 to 75lbs above head
Must be able to constantly bend, reach, squat, twist, and stand throughout the entire shift
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have regular and predictable on-site attendance
