This is a Jackson Dinky Made in Japan.
Call it whatever you want - a mutt, a partscaster, frankenstein.
Or even a complete rebuild.
Either way, you are getting a fantastic guitar.
In fact, dare I say, a better guitar than factory new.
* DK body (MIJ) - routed to accommodate the new tremolo.
Heel has been sanded/shaved like one of the newer quick access speed joints
* DK neck (MIJ), the clear coat has been removed and the neck re-sealed.
* tremolo - came off an old Charvel.
The Charvel was MIJ, but I couldn't tell you where the tremolo came from (Japan, Germany, etc).
* Dimarzio pickups - purchased new from DiMarzio, they did not come off of a Jackson.
* tuners, electronics, straplocks, string tree, jack plate - have all been replaced, they did not come off of a Jackson.
* shielding added to eliminate noise/hum
included is a hardshell roadrunner case and some random extras
thinning out the herd, but this one plays very sweet!
